# Robert Nikic TEDx Talk: Second Chances Can Change Your Life

Robert Nikic's TEDxCoral Springs talk, "Unlocking Success: Second Chances Can Change Your Life." Robert tells the story of the choice he faced as a boy in the Balkan war, his family's escape through Croatia and Austria to Germany, six months of homelessness in New York, becoming his family's breadwinner at 15, and the $4 Starbucks share he couldn't afford. His message: if you aren't given a second chance, you can give yourself one. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
