## How Robert Nikic's company earned three Inc. honors

### How the Inc. 5000 works

The Inc. 5000 is Inc.'s annual ranking of America's fastest-growing private companies, ordered by revenue growth over three years. A company has to be independent and privately held to qualify, so the list rewards companies that grew on their own.

### From #418 to #35

The company Robert founded and led debuted at #418 in 2023, with 1,387% growth as reported by Digital Journal. In 2024 it climbed 383 spots to #35, with 7,191% three-year growth, placing it in the top 1% of the list. Inc.com lists it in Business Products & Services, based in Newark, Delaware, with 51–200 employees.

### Best Workplaces

In 2024 the company was also named to Inc. Best Workplaces, honored in the Medium size category, "Established Excellence" stage, and the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, as listed on Inc.com. That made three Inc. honors in two years.

## In Robert's words

People see #418 to #35 and think it happened fast. It took 15 years. My family came here as refugees from the Balkans and started over with nothing. My first startups as a teenager failed, and I worked 18-hour shifts before I could build anything real. We built the company without outside investors, which is why the Inc. list meant so much: it measures growth you earned yourself. The Best Workplaces honor mattered to me even more, because it came from the team. In 2026 I stepped away to work on SDG 8 & 9, so more founders get the chance to grow.

## Key takeaways

- Growth you earn: The list ranks private companies by three-year revenue growth.
- A 383-spot climb: From #418 in 2023 to #35 in 2024, in the top 1%.
- A workplace honor too: Inc. Best Workplaces 2024 recognized the team.

## Where it led

Today he works on United Nations SDG 8 & 9, making it easier for anyone to start and grow a business. The Inc. rankings show what a self-funded company can do. His work now is aimed at the founders who never get far enough to be ranked, through simpler registration, faster payments and fairer credit.
