## What Tech Times reported about Robert Nikic

### The rankings

Carl Williams of Tech Times reports that, under Robert's leadership, the company became Delaware's third-fastest-growing software company and ranked #418 nationally on the Inc. 5000.

### After launch

The piece focuses on a part of selling that gets less attention: what happens after a seller's store goes live. Launching is the easy part. Managing products, fulfilling orders and keeping up with how marketplaces change is where many new stores stall.

### The problems he chose

Tech Times describes those three areas, product management, fulfillment and marketplace dynamics, as the problems Robert set out to solve, and credits that focus for the company's growth.

## In Robert's words

Everyone talks about launching a store. I cared more about week three, when the orders come in and the problems start. My family came here as refugees from the Balkans and started over with nothing. My teenage startups failed, partly because I didn't understand what happens after launch. I worked 18-hour shifts and taught myself the rest. We built the company without outside investors and became one of Delaware's fastest-growing software companies, then made the Inc. 5000 at #418 and #35. Since 2026 I've worked on SDG 8 & 9, including getting small sellers paid faster after the sale.

## Key takeaways

- Delaware's #3: Tech Times reports a third-place rank among the state's fastest-growing software companies.
- Life after launch: The piece focuses on running a store, not just opening one.
- Three hard problems: Product management, fulfillment and marketplace dynamics.

## Where this fits in his story

- 2011: First platform launched
- 2018: Relaunched as a full platform
- 2023: Inc. 5000 debut at #418 (this feature)
- 2024: Climbs to #35
- 2026: Steps away to work on SDG 8 & 9

## Where it led

Tech Times described the operational problems after a sale. The next one is getting paid. Under SDG 8.10, Robert now works on helping small sellers get paid in days, not weeks or months, so the cash from a sale arrives in time to keep the business running.
