## What The Gazette reported about Robert Nikic

### Across three countries

The Gazette covers Robert's leadership as the company expanded its services across the United States, Mexico and Canada. For small sellers, that meant reaching customers in three countries from one setup.

### The services

The article lists what the company handled for sellers on Amazon, Walmart and eBay: picking, packing, shipping, returns and customer service. Those are the jobs that usually keep a one-person business from growing past its home market.

### How he led

The Gazette describes his leadership as built on transparency, innovation and customer focus, presenting the expansion as an extension of those values rather than a break from them.

## In Robert's words

Selling into Mexico and Canada sounds big, but for a small seller it should feel like selling to the next state. That was the goal. My family crossed borders as refugees from the Balkans and started over with nothing, so I've always noticed how much borders cost people. I failed at startups as a teenager and worked 18-hour shifts long before any of this. We built the company without outside investors and handled the hard parts, packing, shipping and returns, so sellers didn't have to. Since 2026 I've worked on SDG 8 & 9, trying to make cross-border selling cheap and simple.

## Key takeaways

- Three markets, one setup: Sellers reached the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
- Operations handled: Picking, packing, shipping, returns and customer service.
- Values at scale: Transparency, innovation and customer focus, as The Gazette describes.

## Where this fits in his story

- 2011: First platform launched
- 2018: Relaunched as a full platform
- 2023: Inc. 5000 debut at #418
- 2024: Climbs to #35 (this feature)
- 2026: Steps away to work on SDG 8 & 9

## Where it led

Then, he helped sellers cross borders. Now, under SDG 9.c, he works on making it cheap and simple for small businesses to sell across borders with digital tools, which is exactly what this expansion was. The Gazette documented the company version; his current work is the policy version.
