Watch the full interviewTranscript
When we started selling toothpaste, we were mocked for the longest time, because a lot of entrepreneurs fail simply because they want to sell what they want to sell. Or sexy stuff. That's what they want to do, right? No one wants to sell toothpaste. But toothpaste is what drives our economy, because everybody uses it. Why a lot of people fail in dropshipping, the traditional method, is: oh, I want to start a clothing store, I want to sell all the fashionable clothing that I like. No one cares about what you like. You should care about what the market wants. So my advice would be to take emotion out of the decisions that dictate your success.
